Gloria Custodio has a passion that transforms dreams into reality. Now an ocean away from her beginnings, she learned to be responsible and accountable at an early age.
Graduating as a pharmacist at 21, this dedicated woman little realized where life's road would take her. After falling in love with Canada on vacation in 1985, she left civil unrest in the Philipines with her husband, a

businessman, and two young children. "When I arrived here all I had was my good name and integrity." Drawing on these assets, she layed the foundation of her business. Settling into a new environment and lifestyle, along with starting the new business, was the greatest challenge she had ever faced.

"I only knew three couples when I started in real estate," she recalls, "now 99% of my business is through referrals." Gloria has developed a solid clientele based on her feelings for people and their needs. In a highly competitive real estate market she still maintains the personal touch that's become her signature. "I know I could make more money, but I'll never have an assistant taking calls," she states, "my clients are my friends."

Gloria's client Nasim states "Talented, caring, compassionate and honest are a few of the words that can best describe Gloria. I was extremely sastisfied with her very professional service. My realtor for life."

Despite a busy schedule, Gloria finds time to devote to a variety of community and philanthropic projects. With a lifestyle that includes travel, decorating, and cuisine, she is also an avid golfer. Among many achievements her 'Hole in One' certificate is a treasured memento.

Changing houses "more often than cars," Gloria has finally found her Eden. "This is my retirement house," she insists, " I finally have the view I want." Her children, both holding degrees from SFU, and working professionals in their mid-twenties, have yet to leave the nest. Not surprisingly, they too have discovered Gloria's talent for transforming a house into a dream home. To contact Gloria Custodio call her at 604-583-2000, or e-mail gloriacustodio@shaw.ca.
